Save a game by pressing the F5 key.  Then load your saved location using the F8 key.  Toggle between saves using F6 and F7)

note:  Gens 2.14 was User-friendly.  But, the main setback is the fact that [GENS temporarily lowers your computer to 16-bit graphics mode], while in use.  This can be annoying to most Computer Users.  Gens32 Surreal corrects this problem.   Plus, Gens Surreal also has a nice interface.  However: in the process, earlier versions of Gens Surreal removed the simple f5 save slot mode.   This problem has since been corrected in version 1.86.  Plus, version 1.86 might require a dual-core computer for all features to work smoothly.
